Findmyfare.com is committed to providing a simple, seamless and efficient refund process. All refund applications are required to be applied through the online refund request form provided in the customer support section. All refunds are subject to final approval by the specific supplier related to airlines, hotels, lodging, travel insurance and other service providers. The value to be determined for refund will also be subject to the approved refund value by the specific suppliers. Mentioned below is the refund procedure for different payment methods.
A) Credit/Debit Card Payments
Refunds are processed to the credit/debit card account where a payment has been made by the card.
For EMI payments processed by Findmyfare and EDC machine payments the refund is processed back to the credit/debit card account by a direct deposit of a cheque payment after deducting the convenience fee.
Where a payment to the card is not possible, the refund is processed to the ticket holder's bank account.
B) Other forms of Payments
Findmyfare reserves the right to refund either to the person named in the ticket or to the person who has paid for the ticket, upon presentation of satisfactory evidence and identification.
Refund will be credited to the current/savings account as designated by the passenger or to the appointed nominee by the passenger upon presentation of satisfactory evidence and identification.
Refund payments will be made only by account payee cheque drawn in favor of the passenger/authorized person.
C) Evidence Required
In case of refund to other than passenger or the ticket holder the following documents in support of the claim needs to be provided
1. Letter of authority from ticket holder.
2. Passport copy of passenger providing the letter of authority.
3. NIC copy of person authorized to receive refund as per the passenger’s authority.
